Biza.ca uses the consulting price ranges published by our parent brand: hourly consulting from $175 to $350, projects from $3,500 to $25,000, and monthly retainers from $2,500 to $12,000. Prices are in Canadian dollars; add GST/HST for your province (GST and QST in Quebec). Your first 30-minute consultation costs nothing, and nothing locks you in.
The full, current ranges are on BusinessConsulting.ca's pricing page. If anything there differs from this page, the written proposal you receive is what counts.

The four ways to pay
Pick the format that matches the number of red letters on your checklist.
| Option | Price (CAD, + GST/HST) | Fits | Biza.ca service |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hourly consulting | $175–$350 / hour | One or two red letters; a second opinion | Any letter, by the hour |
| Project | $3,500–$25,000 per project | A defined set of letters with a clear finish | A to Z review, accounts recovery, growth letters |
| Monthly retainer | $2,500–$12,000 / month | Steady progress through many letters | Letter-a-month advisory |
| Growth Partner Program | Custom | Clear numbers and real growth room | Performance-based; limited partnerships available |
Projects are paid in milestones, and the proposal lists each milestone and what is delivered at it.
What drives the cost
Four things move a quote up or down: the number of letters, the number of accounts, cooperation from third parties, and how much hands-on work you want.
- Letters in scope. A review of all 26 letters for a single-location business is a smaller job than one for a business trading in three provinces, because B, H, L and P multiply.
- Accounts. Recovering three accounts is quick; recovering fifteen, spread across past vendors, is not.
- Third parties. A cooperative former web designer can hand over a domain in a day. An unresponsive one can add weeks of platform processes.
- Advice or execution. A written plan you carry out costs less than us doing the marketing work for you.
A worked example
Here is how an owner might weigh hourly against a project. Say your first pass of the checklist shows five red letters: A, D, G, M and R.
- Hourly route: two or three sessions at, say, $250 an hour to agree priorities and walk through fixes you do yourself: roughly $500 to $750 plus GST/HST, plus your own time.
- Project route: recovery of A and D, then the growth letters G, M and R done for you, scoped as one project starting at $3,500 plus GST/HST.
If your own time is worth $80 an hour and the do-it-yourself route would take 40 hours, that is $3,200 of your time on top of the sessions. The project may cost about the same and free you for paying work. If you enjoy the work and have the hours, hourly is the better deal. Both are fair; the arithmetic decides.
How to choose
Use three questions.
- Do you know which letters are red? If not, a project-priced A to Z review or a single hourly session with your own marked-up checklist.
- Do you want it done, or do you want to do it? Done points to a project; doing points to hourly.
- Are there more than eight empty letters? A retainer spreads them over months at a steady pace.
The Growth Partner Program is different: it is for businesses whose setup is mostly green and whose numbers are clear enough to tie payment to results. We discuss it only after we have seen those numbers.
What every proposal includes
Before you agree to anything, you get it in writing. Every proposal lists:
- ☐ the letters in scope and what "done" means for each
- ☐ the price, the milestones and GST/HST
- ☐ the notice period and how to stop
- ☐ what you own at the end (always: every account, file and page we create)
Questions about pricing are covered in the FAQ. When you are ready, contact us with your checklist and we will suggest the cheapest option that closes your red letters. You can also read more about how we work.
Frequently asked questions
Is the first conversation really free?
Yes. The initial 30-minute consultation is free, with no obligation. Bring your marked-up checklist and we will tell you which option fits, if any.
Do prices include sales tax?
No. Biza.ca prices are in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST by province (GST and QST in Quebec).
Are there setup fees or cancellation fees?
Your written proposal sets out every fee and the notice period in full before you agree to anything. If it is not in the proposal, you are not paying it.
What is the Growth Partner Program?
It is a partnership where Ali puts in time first and is paid according to measurable results. It suits a small number of businesses with clear numbers and real growth room, and only limited partnerships are available.
Can I just pay for an hour?
Yes. Hourly consulting is often the right choice when only one or two letters are red and you mainly want a second opinion on the order to fix them.
